- Apex Tool Group
- - Carl Weller comenzó la Weller Electric Co. en Easton, Pensilvania en 1945 con la invención de la pistola soldadora. Estaba buscando una manera de atender el mercado de reparación de radio en rápido crecimiento. Esa invención fue seguida por el primer soldador en 1950, seguido por el primer soldador de temperatura controlada en 1976.
Weller se expandió a Europa en 1959. A lo largo de su historia, Weller ha desarrollado continuamente productos de futuro para los mercados de consumo e industriales.
El compromiso de Weller con la tecnología se evidencia en el equipo de I + D de siete personas, con numerosas patentes y premios en su haber.
El centro de capacitación de la Weller University en Apex, Carolina del Norte, se estableció en 2007. La capacitación se brinda a más de 100 personas por año.
